TE Schlitt Engineering was founded with the goal of creating an engineering firm where important core values could thrive. From the beginning, we placed an emphasis on providing efficient, high-quality work, excellent customer service and a family-first environment with work/life balance for employees. It’s fair pay for fair work, it’s doing our best for each other, and it’s providing the best solution while navigating the ever-changing building codes and regulations.
TE Schlitt Engineering provides structural engineering and consulting services. We work hard to meet our client’s goals with responsive project management, effective quality control and a commitment to schedule. Our objective is to deliver a cost effective, buildable design.
Our structural engineering projects include single family residences and multi-family, apartments and senior housing, schools and churches, office and retail buildings, and industrial structures. Our public works experience includes building designs, marine structures, retaining walls and shoring systems. Another necessary specialty is concrete restoration studies.
We design structures based on open and active collaboration among the entire project team. From conception to closeout, we develop and revise our designs according to owner budget, architectural intent, and the needs of other trades.
We value communication with architects, contractors, building owners, and other engineers as early and as often as we can. Efficient communication allows us to develop structural solutions that benefit the performance of other trades. This process has been extremely effective in streamlining design, reducing construction errors, and providing value to the owner.
